Which board game to print tonight?

Short on time? Filter by play time and pick something under 30 minutes. Playing with kids? Use the age filter: every game shows the designer’s recommended minimum age. Solo players will find dice and card games built for one, including winners of the BoardGameGeek solo print-and-play contests.

All the games here are free to download. Some PDFs are hosted on this site with the creator’s permission; for the others the download button takes you to the designer’s own page, where you can also support their work.

Questions

What is a print and play board game?

A board game released as a PDF. You print the board and cards at home, cut them out, add a few dice or tokens, and play. Many designers share them for free to let people try the game before buying the boxed edition.

What do I need to print a board game?

A printer (black and white is often fine), a few sheets of paper, scissors, and usually dice, coins or pawns from another game. Each page lists exactly what the game needs.

Can I share the PDF with friends?

Share the link to the game page, not the file. Most licences allow printing for personal use but not redistribution.
